Roadtrip 2016 Spring: Vancouver - Seaside - Yachats - Seaside - Vancouver

Day 5 - Yachats River, Strawberry Hill

Dora and Ivan have made the effort to inspect the state of their roof. Hmmm says Dora - think we need a new one.

Out along the Yachats River, we find the cutting edge of sustainable, off the gridness - the LEGO roof, using yesterday's toys tomorrow.

Oregon Spring Green.

The little known Yachats Covered Bridge - they try to keep this one quiet - but we found it anyways.

And a just little further on, the Rules and Regulations.

Today's single-track adventure takes us high into the fog zone in the national forest.

I'll leave it to you to sort it all out.

Yes, I really can roar like a lion. And I can do it again if you still don't believe me.

View from Strawberry Hill - the cliffs are eroding like crazy.

I've never seen so many mussel shells strewn amongst the rocks.

Thems rocks are slick!

We stumble upon the fossilized remains of a Meso-American Black Anaconda - the hugest snake to ever slither the coast.

Emma ponders the Meso-American Black Anaconda. Could make a nice sausage.

Just below our house, clueless tourists sneak up on the sneaker waves. Those rocks are routinely swept by 7 footers.
